What is Magento?

Magento is an ecommerce system that we have decided to adopt as our ecommerce platform of choice. Although Joomla and Virtuemart are a cheaper and more affordable solution for most small businesses, the additional scope and flexibility of Magento make it a great alternative to a 'high-end' ecommerce solution.

Bespoke equivalent developments would normally cost in excess £30k in today's market, so for us to be able to offer an equivalent ecommerce solution for less than £1,000 is a worthwhile investment of our time for our clients.

Realistically an ecommerce solution developed by Mode Solutions for an average e-commerce solution would cost approx. £3-4,000 taking into account and including design and development charges. That is still only 10% of a standard 'high-end' ecommerce solution.
